Load those again like you would any Preset Sets! One final note I did have to move over my old presets from Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Develop Presets because several of my custom keys used my presets. I selected it hit esc and everything is working again! After that I restarted my machine and my old keys was now showing up as an option when I clicked the K in the top menu bar. If you prefer to use VSCOSimple.vkeys or VSCOStandard.vkeys add those to the folder instead. vkeys file that can be found in the same location on your old machine if you're upgrading to a new machine.
From there choose Application Support and add a folder called VSCOKeys inside that folder put your old.

Problem 2: Couldn't get my old Layout the I had created when VSCO still supported keys or the current Simple or Standard Keys layouts after I had tried to load my old layout.įix: Went to VSCOkeys in my application folder and clicked the uninstall and did a fresh install of the program THEN! Keys for some reason was not creating an Application support folder so I created it manually by going to Finder tab go and holding down option so that you can see the hidden admin "Library" folder. It will be located in the Applications folder!
Problem 1: Keys didn't work after running the install and kept getting a popup saying keys needed permission or something to that nature.įix: Go to System Preferences then Security & Privacy, then Accessibility and click the + to add VSCOkeys manually. So I Just got a new computer and decided not to migrate my information from my old computer and just do a clean start which means I would need to reinstall VSCO keys.
